kyle first picked up the guitar when he was 10, and by the time he was 12, he was touring canada with his first band, bluesway express. bluesway express was comprised of kyle, roger mercier (who played on before i speak) and ryan boldt. the trio, later named motep's groove extensively toured canada from 2000-2002, before kyle started pursuing his solo career. their tour dates can be found under the tour section.
